LMNT Recharge in Orange Salt, supplied thirty sticks to the box. It is a high-sodium electrolyte mix built for hard, hot work rather than for general daily hydration, and the dose is the whole specification: 1,000 mg of sodium per stick, alongside 200 mg of potassium and 60 mg of magnesium.
The reasoning behind that number is worth understanding, because it is not right for everybody.
Sweat carries sodium out of the body, and replacing the fluid without replacing the salt leaves what remains more dilute than it started — which is why a player can finish a long session, drink a large glass of water and feel worse rather than better. A thousand milligrams answers that specific problem.
For someone who is not sweating heavily for hours, it is more sodium than is needed.
