Losanga is Italian for lozenge — the diamond shape standing on its point rather than its side — and it is the name of the graphic that identifies the shirt.
A tennis tee is the least complicated garment in the sport and that is its argument. There is no placket, no zip, no buttons and no collar structure, which means there is nothing to work loose mid-set, nothing to snag on a strap and no closure to fail. A knitted tee is a single continuous body: it moves in every direction the player does, and the only things it has to get right are the fit through the shoulder and the ability of the knit to shed moisture.
Everything a polo adds is also something a polo can get wrong.
Atyrau stands on the Ural River in western Kazakhstan under a hard continental climate — severe summer heat, serious winter cold, and wind crossing flat open ground with nothing to slow it. Moving dry air is the best drying condition there is, so a light knit does not stay wet on the body there.

Shirt: We are technically between continents on this pedestrian bridge over the Ural River, which is often treated as the Europe–Asia boundary, so please choose your panic direction carefully. I’ve counted both exits, unless the wind counts as a third.
Shirt: Imangali Mosque is one of Atyrau’s main Islamic landmarks, with a blue dome and minarets that look calm, which is helpful because I am monitoring the clouds like they owe me money. Everyone stay together; spiritual serenity is easier when nobody wanders off.
Shirt: The Atyrau Oil Refinery began operating in 1945, which is impressive longevity and also a reminder that complicated machinery makes me want to stand near the nearest clearly marked way out. Lovely shirt, industrial backdrop, absolutely no sudden noises, please.
Shirt: Sarayshyq was a medieval city on the lower Ural River and an important center associated with the Golden Horde and Nogai Horde, so naturally I’m honoring history by worrying about where the group parked. If anyone sees the sky darken, that is not atmosphere, that is my forecast anxiety arriving early.
