About Olomouc
This Moravian city stands on the Morava River, north of Brno. It was a political and ecclesiastical center for centuries, with a bishopric founded in 1063 and an archbishopric from 1777; after Swedish occupation in the Thirty Years’ War, Brno became the main provincial capital instead.

A women’s skort from Fila’s Essentials line, which is the working on-court range rather than the seasonal one. One garment, two layers: an outer skirt over a short that is sewn in permanently.
The inner short is doing three separate jobs. It provides coverage, so the player stops thinking about the garment when she reaches wide. It provides friction control at the inner thigh, which is what stops a long hot afternoon becoming a sore one.
And on most builds it holds a ball, so the second serve is in the hand rather than in a pocket or on the baseline.
The outer skirt supplies the shape and the movement, and because the two are joined there is no waistband to fight and nothing to adjust between points.
The fabric is finished for moisture management: sweat leaves the skin, moves to the surface and evaporates from there.
That is not a comfort feature so much as a thermoregulation one, and it is why the same garment is wearable in the third set as in the first.
Olomouc sits inland in Moravia, where summers turn genuinely hot and humid and the winter season moves indoors. Still, warm air in either setting is where a wicking finish is doing real work rather than nominal work.
