A convertible sling tote for two racquets. It is worn across the body and carried on the back, leaving both hands free, and it converts by expanding to take a second frame rather than by becoming a different bag.
The material is the reason for the price.
The leather colourways are full grain — the top layer of the hide with nothing sanded off it. Nothing is buffed away, nothing is corrected, and no coating is sprayed on to hide a scar, which means the strongest fibres in the skin are left where they grew. That is why full grain does not wear out the way a corrected-grain leather does: instead of a surface finish rubbing off to expose what was underneath, the hide itself darkens and softens.
The canvas colourways use a heavy, durable canvas instead, on the same pattern.
Storage is deliberately short.
Inside there is one zippered pocket and one large mesh pocket, mesh so the contents are visible without unpacking the bag. Outside there is a d-ring tab for clipping gear to.
Mississauga’s courts run through long cold winters and wet shoulder seasons, and a heavy full-grain hide handles damp and cold far better than a coated or split leather, which cracks where the finish fails.
