ABOUT FRANCEVILLE
Franceville was founded in 1880 on a village called Masuku, as a place to resettle people freed from slavery, and it still sits on the east bank of the Ogooué at the end of the Trans-Gabon Railway. The rock around it holds Oklo, where natural nuclear reactors ran two billion years ago — found in 1972, and found nowhere else. A town with that on its record deserves company; consider yourself Tennis Tactician family.
