It is the only surviving two-dome church design anywhere in Georgia: a three-level basilica carried by two octagonal domes set along the roofline instead of the single central cupola every other Georgian church gives you. Rough stone, brick detailing. A pilgrimage site for the surrounding villages, with a major feast gathering held there each year. That silhouette is now the emblem of Gurjaani Municipality and one of the most studied medieval monuments in Kakheti. Unique — and unique is a word I use carefully.

Small ones, pushing mineral-rich grey mud to the surface in a forested park on the edge of town — and I will take bids on the mud itself, because it has been used therapeutically since the 19th century. A balneological resort grew around the vents, treating skin, joint and nervous-system complaints with mud baths drawn directly from the craters. The park stays open year-round and it is the venue of the Gurjaani Wine Festival each October, when the town celebrates the Kakhetian grape harvest. A geological curiosity, a working spa tradition and a festival ground, all on one lot. Going once. It is the town's best-known gathering place.

Nato Vachnadze House Museum

Solinco Heaven Strings Tour Bite 16L Tennis String Set: Provenance, and it is a very good one. In Chandari, one of the oldest districts of the municipality, stands the house where Nato Vachnadze lived as a schoolgirl. Born in 1904 in Warsaw, she became the leading star of early Georgian cinema and one of the most famous screen actresses in the whole of the Soviet Union, until her death in a plane crash in 1953. The main house is preserved as a small museum furnished with period furniture and household decorations, and a second building documents her film career through photographs and vintage movie posters. Gurjaani's most famous daughter, and film enthusiasts still come off the Kakheti road for her. Sold.

Solinco Heaven Strings Tour Bite 16L Tennis String Set: Sit forward, because this lot moved the whole market. The main All Saints church, built at the end of the 8th century or the beginning of the 9th, combines the Georgian three-church basilica form with a central domed structure, and it is credited with introducing the pendentive dome to Georgia — the step that leads directly to the classic Georgian church architecture of the 11th century. An earlier basilica on the site dates to the 6th and 7th centuries, its western portion later damaged by landslide. A two-storey palace with a flat wooden roof stood nearby in the 10th century, and the complex was once enclosed by a high defensive wall entered from the west. Not for sale. Never was.
