The Tennis Tactician

What This Is Actually About

The Tennis Tactician, LLC (“TTT”) is the world’s first themed cardio tennis company.  Many clubs occasionally attatch themes to specific.  Maybe you have attended a clinic where everybody dressed in their Wiimbledon whites or participated in your club’s Hawaiian night.  If so, we bet you had a great time!

We won’t be giving themed special events.  The themed tennis clinic will be our normal.  We will launch with 1,628 clinics.  Each clinic will have the tennis court and surrounding areas with elaborate decoration.  The instructor decked out head-to-toe.  We will create a custom-curated playlist that is completely different for every clinic we offer.  We take the time to create all of our drills from scratch using the daily theme as a guide.  Finally we offer creative-themed gold, silver, and bronze medals after every clinic.

We provide all of the fun and fitness that clinics have always provided, but we add the intrigue and drama one gets from a phenomenal broadway play, the excitement of a night at the cinema, or the expanded horizons from traveling somewhere you’ve never been or learning about someone you didn’t know anything about.

Before expaining further, please know that TTT includes a very big “why?”  Owner Jackon Phillips suffers from bipolar disorder among other mental illnesses.  He spent decades seeking answers and found himself a trigger’s distance from ending his life.  In 2024, Jackson discovered treatment that permitted him to live a normal life again.  He promised to give a percentage of all revenue to mental health and/or suicide prevention charities.  His stated goal is $1,000,000.  But the costumes and pageantry, the themes and experiences we discuss now are only the surface. The mission is the spine.

How This Got Built

We do not have 9.5 million dollars for renovations or subsurface irrigation systems. We have a can of Miller Lite, a Claude subscription, and the capacity to enter search terms strategically. It turns out that was all the opportunity required.

Unless you were born in a cave, you have probably noticed that everything is different than it was ten years ago. We have lived through the establishment and advancement of the most powerful tool humanity has ever received. The Age of Artificial Intelligence is reshaping the world — boosting productivity, cutting costs, driving innovation through automation, data analysis, and personalized customer experience. My question is whether tennis clinics have applied any of it to personalize the player experience.

The answer, as far as I can tell, is no.

I had the idea 6 months ago. When I pitched the idea to every local club, they told me it wasn't possible.

The Credit Due

Why do tennis clinics look identical to tennis clinics from 2015? And by 2015, I mean 1983. Here is a little joke, but unfortunately it is not funny: how do you tell the difference between a 1983 tennis clinic and a tennis clinic in 2026?

By the racquet.

And… only… by… the… racquet.

That is not okay, and you should not be okay with it either. Before the AI Revolution, there was not much clubs could do. To improve a clinic, you had to do it yourself or make additional hires. After eight to ten hours on court, large-scale content infusion was impossible. We live in a completely different world. Our expectations have not caught up to our capabilities.

The AI Revolution stepped back in the pocket and launched a perfect spiral that Tom Brady would watch with awe. Then, Terminator-style, it vaporized every defender on the field for good measure. TTT is the company lucky enough to be standing in the end zone.

Frustrated that nobody saw my vision, Frosty came to me in confidence. She told me that just because something hadn't been done before doesn't mean it can't happen now. Then she asked me if there was any Fancy Feast left.

What You Actually Get

At launch, TTT has 1,628 different clinics. No two of them resemble each other. Every clinic has its own custom playlist of more than twenty curated songs. Every game and every drill in every clinic has been designed for the world that clinic lives in. We have a content pipeline that starts with God, runs through Claude — who knows almost everything there is to know about anything, and delivers the answer faster than checking out a library book in the 90s — and ends at the desks of my TTT staff, who usually start manipulating content at the same time we learn it exists.

Welcome to the world’s first fully themed cardio tennis experience — a concept that has never been attempted anywhere, by anyone, at any club, in any country.

Why Cardio Tennis

We chose cardio tennis as the natural starting place because it has been quietly growing at clubs across the country for years. It works. People show up. The USTA’s own cardio tennis program has documented its expansion across more than 30 countries since launch. And cardio is one of the few activities a person will do for their entire life. Most of the other options are brutal. The gym is monotonous. The treadmill is punishing. The mile walk is forgettable. And people are living longer every day — all the truer at Lauderdale Tennis Club.

Tennis already has the social energy, the competition, the full-body movement. What it has not had until now is immersion. There has simply never been a reason to talk about a tennis clinic the next day. The modern paradigm of cardio tennis threw itself face-first on the floor. It refused to move, so the industry got down on its hands and knees and has been playing with it for ten years.

What “Themed” Actually Means

For many clubs, this is a wild themed adventure.
This is what The Tennis Tactician considers a boring evening.

At The Tennis Tactician, the theme is not a decoration. It is not a sign on the door or a playlist on shuffle. The theme is the entire environment. The instructor arrives dressed head to toe in the essence of that clinic’s world. The court and surrounding area are transformed — props, visuals, atmosphere — into something that no longer looks like a tennis clinic. Players step through the gate and step into a different world entirely.

The Music

Every clinic has its own custom playlist — not a random shuffle, not a stock cardio track. If the clinic is built around a country in Africa, the music is sourced from that culture, in the right dialects, at the right tempo for cardio. If it is built around a U.S. state, the playlist is songs written about that state, by artists born there, or that capture what the place actually feels like. With twenty-five different series spanning historical eras, world cities, astrology, sitcoms, musicals, occupations, sporting moments, and more, the playlists go deep.

And when the music that truly captures a theme does not exist — when no song has ever been written that cuts to the soul of what we are doing — we build it. Custom songs. Real research. Real production. The result is music no other club anywhere in the world is playing.

The Drills and Games

Most instructors have a rotation of ten or fifteen games they cycle through. At TTT, every drill and every game is designed from scratch for the theme it lives inside. If we are in 1300 BC, the rules of the court reflect that world. If we are on the Titanic, everything changes. No two clinics run the same games. That is the work. That is the time we put in that we do not believe anyone else has ever put in.

My Dream for Cardio Tennis

I want to take tennis clinics from what they have been for forty years —

From this…

To this…

The Concept Is Simple

Take cardio tennis — already the best live cardio activity most people will ever find — and add entertainment, history, culture, and meaning. Make it something people cannot stop talking about. Make it the highlight of the day. Use the business that gets built around that experience to fund the work of keeping people alive.

Welcome to the court. This is The Tennis Tactician.
