This is the three-racquet size, with a thermal-lined compartment, and the lining is doing real work rather than decorative work: string tension moves with temperature, and a bag left in a hot boot or a freezing car will hand you back a frame that plays like somebody else's. The lining slows that down.
Air mesh shoulder straps, compartments enough that racquets, kit and accessories keep to themselves, and the teal, black and yellow of the SX line. Three frames is the honest club number — one in play, one strung differently, one you trust.
And Sassari, which is a city I did not expect to be homesick in and was. The Fontana di Rosello sits down below the town in green and white marble under crossed arches with San Gavino on horseback above it, and people have been coming down to that water for four hundred years for no reason except that it is the place you go.
Piazza d'Italia is nineteenth-century and arcaded, with the Palazzo della Provincia along one side, and at seven in the evening the whole town walks it, which is the same thing my town does at the same hour with worse weather and less marble.
You will get use out of this bag everywhere from a windy away match to a hot afternoon back home, and by the way, the Museo Nazionale Sanna keeps the little bronze figures that came out of the nuraghe towers, and they are three thousand years old and look like people you know.
