This polo is 100% polyester and Nike says the whole thing is made from recycled polyester fibres, which means every fibre in the shirt on your back had a previous career as something else and has been dragged back out for one more shift. I LOVE THAT.
It has a fold-over collar and a two-button placket, it machine washes, and it comes in four colourways: Black/White, Navy/White, Obsidian/White, and White/Black. Obsidian, by the way, is a very dark blue and not black, and if you buy the wrong one you will be annoyed at me and not at yourself.

Dri-FIT is the technology and here is the actual mechanism, because it is better than the advertising: it is a microfiber construction that lifts sweat off your skin and spreads it out over the surface of the cloth, so a big thin puddle evaporates instead of a small deep one sitting in the weave. Big surface, fast evaporation, that is all it is, and it is PHYSICS, not a coating.
And the part I genuinely raise a glass to: Nike states the sweat-managing property is permanent for the life of the garment. It cannot wear off. You cannot ruin it by washing it too often, which — and I say this with love — some of you needed to hear.
There is nothing on top of the fabric to come off.
