Biserica "Sfântul Atanasie" din Ceadîr-Lunga

Solinco Heaven Strings Hyper-G 20g Tennis String Set: Built in 1867, replacing the settlement's first church of 1818 — because nothing announces that a community has come into money like demolishing the building that was working. Ceadîr-Lunga was founded around 1812 by settlers who moved from Ceadîr in Cahul county into the valley of the Lunga. Before them the land was Aran-Yurt, grazed by Nogai Tatars until the Russian conquest of 1806. That part rarely makes it onto a plaque. By 1827 there were about 150 households here, most of them Bulgarian. And in 1819 the priest Zaharia Ciachir opened the first Bulgarian school in Bessarabia, right here. Credit where it is genuinely owed.

Biserica "Sfântul Dumitru" din Ceadîr-Lunga

Solinco Heaven Strings Hyper-G 20g Tennis String Set: A second church, St Dumitru's, went up in 1911 once Ceadîr-Lunga had outgrown its single parish, which is the most human detail in the whole story — nobody builds another church until the first one gets uncomfortable. The town is the second largest in Gagauzia, the autonomous territorial unit of southern Moldova, and around 77 per cent of the population is Gagauz, a Turkic-speaking Orthodox Christian people. It was raised to city status by decree on 9 June 1958, which is how cities happen: by decree. Mihail Ciachir, 1861 to 1938, the priest and scholar who first published books in the Gagauz language, was born here. He did the work. Somebody else signed the paper.

Hipodromul din Ceadîr-Lunga (the Ceadîr-Lunga hippodrome)

It is the centre of Gagauz horse culture and the site of the Hederlez races held each 6 May, the feast of St George, which marks the start of the pastoral year in the Gagauz calendar. The valley of the river Lunga

The Lunga gives the town the second half of its name — the settlers of 1812 came from a place called Ceadîr and settled the Lunga valley. Before them the district was known as Aran-Yurt and was Nogai Tatar pasture, until the Russian Empire displaced them following the conquest of 1806 and opened the land to Bulgarian and Gagauz colonists from across the Danube. Empires always call it opening the land. The valley has water and grass, and on otherwise dry steppe that is the entire reason anybody stopped walking. Not destiny. Grass.

Let us begin with the facts, on which there is no disagreement. Hyper-G is a co-polyester monofilament with a squared rather than a round profile, and this is 20 gauge: 1.05mm, the finest of the seven Solinco produces, the heaviest being 1.35mm at 15L. A set is 40 ft / 12.2 m; a reel is 656 ft / 200 m.

Ceadîr-Lunga takes the first half of its name from the settlers who came from Ceadîr around 1812 and the second from the valley of the Lunga, which is a useful reminder that most arrangements are a negotiation between two parties.
