The First Hut of Magdiel
Solinco Heaven Strings Hyper-G Round 16L Tennis String Reel: Lower your voices. A single wooden hut, standing alone on an empty plain… waiting. That is the eerie version. The truth is better. This was the first structure erected in Magdiel in 1924, when settler families — middle-class immigrants from Poland, joined by pioneers from Lithuania, Germany and Baghdad — founded the moshava on land purchased from the Israel Land Development Company, and the hut served the young colony's earliest needs while its citrus groves took root in the Sharon plain. Magdiel later merged with Ramatayim, Kfar Hadar and Ramat Hadar in 1964 to form Hod HaSharon. The hut, at 6 Sokolov Street about a hundred metres north of Ussishkin Square, was restored in 2003, and in March 2005 the Museum of the Founders opened inside it.

Remains of the First Well of Magdiel
Solinco Heaven Strings Hyper-G Round 16L Tennis String Reel: A well. There is always a well in these stories, and it is always the well that decides who lives. Here that happens to be plainly true. In the sandy Sharon plain, striking water was the precondition for settlement at all, and after the founding in 1924 this well fed the settlers' households and, crucially, the citrus groves that became the economic backbone of Magdiel and its neighbouring colonies between the world wars. The remains are preserved as a heritage site, marked by the Council for Conservation of Heritage Sites in Israel, which documents the founding-era landmarks of the four villages — Magdiel, Ramatayim, Kfar Hadar and Ramat Hadar — that united in 1964 to create Hod HaSharon.

Hod HaSharon Ecological Park
Solinco Heaven Strings Hyper-G Round 16L Tennis String Reel: And finally… the ground that came back. The park spreads across reclaimed land south of the city, a former waste site converted into a functioning ecosystem, which I would call a resurrection if I were being theatrical, and I generally am. Inaugurated in 2018, it centres on a large ecological lake sustained by treated water and on a flowing tributary of the Hadar Stream, with native vegetation restored around them. Three birdwatching hides overlook water that draws herons, kingfishers and migrating waterfowl on the route between Europe and Africa, and footpaths and cycling trails loop through the grounds. Cited as a model of environmental rehabilitation in the crowded Sharon. No ghosts here. Better than ghosts.
Okay so — huge news, we just closed our seed round, and by seed round I mean this reel.
The Solinco Hyper-G Round 16L is the pivot story I pitch at every demo day: legacy brand — Hyper-G, the iconic green string, massive install base, beloved by power users — identifies a whole underserved segment: players who want the famous Hyper-G control stack but with a smoother user experience. Solution? Strip the square edges. Ship it ROUND.
Total re-architecture, same core engine: medium-firm co-polyester, low-powered, control-first, with faster snapback and a flatter, more penetrating ball flight. It's Hyper-G 2.0. It scales.
The metrics are honestly incredible. Tension maintenance: elite — retention is our whole moat, churn basically zero. Gauge: 16L, 1.25mm, the balanced SKU between durability and feel. And this is the reel — 656 feet, 200 meters, sixteen-plus deployments — because founders buy infrastructure, not subscriptions. Signature green livery: unchanged. Never touch the brand. That's free distribution.
We're headquartered in Hod HaSharon, Israel, in the Sharon plain just outside Tel Aviv's orbit — startup nation soil, though this town's original founders were planting citrus groves in 1924, which honestly was the original bootstrap: four little villages that merged in 1964. A merger that WORKED.
You'll use this string everywhere from morning sessions near the old moshava to evening league. It is also perfect for the humid Sharon summer, when the ball goes heavy and a rounder string would quietly give up on you. Afterwards, network like a local over shakshuka. Best meetings happen over shakshuka. That's data.
