Lean in, because I am going to tell you the thing the label says plainly and everybody manages to ignore: this is a MEDIUM support bra. Medium. It is not a high-impact bra, it does not claim to be, and if you go running a five-mile session in it you will come back with opinions that are entirely your own fault. For tennis, for training, for a class — perfect.
I only mention it because someone always finds out the hard way and then tells everybody.
It is a pullover, so there is no hook, no clasp, nothing to fiddle with when your hands are shaking after a tiebreak — you put it on over your head and it is done. Racerback, which is what actually holds the shoulders in place; the straps pull toward the spine rather than sliding outward. Tight fit, round neck.
Now the details, and some of these are good.
CLIMACOOL is the technology, keeping sweat off you rather than letting it sit, and it is moisture-wicking throughout. The cloth is 79% recycled polyester with 21% elastane — that is a lot of elastane, which is where the compression comes from, and compression is how a medium-support bra does its job at all. Machine wash.
Sizes extra small through extra large.
Ljubljana, and oh, do I have something for you here. Look at the Triple Bridge: three spans fanned across the Ljubljanica, and one man did that — Joze Plecnik, who came home from working in the great houses of the age and quietly redesigned his own city.
Then the Dragon Bridge, four copper dragons crouched on the corner plinths, which is NOT his, and people constantly credit it to him, and I have watched guides do it and said nothing.
The riverside colonnade at the Central Market IS his, and he wanted a covered bridge with shops on it too, which the city refused him — and then built something like it eighty years later, after he was gone. And Ljubljana Castle up the wooded hill by funicular, and the plans Plecnik drew for that hill were never built, which I think about more than is healthy.
“He redesigned an entire city and the one bridge everyone photographs is not his. Nobody has the heart to say it.”
Medium support, honestly stated. Pass it on.
